Have
you ever wondered if your adolescent might be experimenting? Suspect
that your teen is abusing drugs or alcohol? What is the difference
between healthy curiosity and a substance abuse problem? Come learn
about what today's teens are exposed to, as well as signs of drug use
and strategies to chat with your adolescent about drugs and alcohol.
Jennifer Tan, LCSW specializes in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with mood and substance abuse issues. She has worked in collaboration with school and justice systems in both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse settings and has developed two substance abuse adolescent programs in the Bay Area. She has experience as a parent coach, a foster parent trainer, a guest speaker at colleges and training centers, and as a consultant for NBC and ABC on adolescents. Jennifer currently sees clients in her private practice in Oakland and San Francisco.
